However, there are other factors that your doctor may need to consider to determine the effectiveness of the procedure. For a rhinoplasty to provide satisfying results, the patient’s facial growth needs to be complete to ensure that the nose is already fully developed. The patient’s physical health is an important factor as well. More importantly, a patient who does not smoke has more chances of a successful rhinoplasty than one who smokes, which is why Dr. Dunkley advises his patients to discontinue the habit weeks before the day of the surgery.
